Beginning on March 28 Palm Sunday is the celebration of Christ's entrance into Jerusalem to complete his paschal sacrifice. The passion of the Lord is read this day and is contemplated throughout the week.

Good Friday April 2nd which is Good Friday this year is a day of total abstinence from meat and also is a day of fast (people are limited to one single full meal on that day). The law of fasting binds all Catholics from their 18th birthday until and including their 59th birthday. No masses are celebrated this day, but the Lord's passion is commemorated. Traditionally adoration and veneration of the cross takes place this day, however that may be curtailed due to COVID-19 quarantine measures.
The Celebration of the Resurrection of Our Lord begins with the Easter Vigil Mass on Holy Saturday.
