The Ladies of Charity's Lenten Service Project benefits the Father McKenna Center which cares for families struggling with food insecurity and men experiencing homeless. The project runs from February 14 through April 7. Click the link above the Lenten Service Project flyer.
Lent begins this Wednesday. Although Ash Wednesday is not a Holy Day of Obligation, it marks the beginning of the Lenten season. There will be Mass at 8:30 am and 6:30 pm and prayer service at noon. Remember that this is a day of fasting and abstinence for most. The Lenten flyer has more information on ways to fast, abstain, give alms. Reconciliation times and the Holy Week schedule is included also.
I, along with Father Anthony and the staff, would like to welcome all of you back to Mass! The dispensation of the Sunday and Holy Day Mass obligation was lifted the weekend of June 26-27. This obligation does not apply to the sick and shut-in. We are still requiring the wearing of masks, social distancing, and the use of hand sanitizer. Please keep those in our community suffering from COVID-19 or the after effects of the virus in your prayers.
